After resizing the template of the head design, I started to build up the features in clay and plaster. I switched to a nylon reinforced clay halfway through as the first batch i bought was poor quality and affecting the overall look of the sculpture.

After discussions with Rhiannon, it was decided that the design had to steer away from the contemporary, however I had to consider that I would have to adapt my work for my illustration brief later.
